T|M Programs Orchestral Music for Journey to Everest Film Trailer

A new documentary film from the good folks over at Epiphany Productions has been released.  The movie is called “Journey to Everest” and is the story of six Americans who set out to trek up a portion of Everest!  The film was created and directed by a talented guy named David Kiern who is in the process of releasing several new films and features.

The music for the film was composed by Bob Farnsworth, President and Creative Director of Hummingbird Productions in Nashville, and the programming was done by Larry Hall.  The music has a very strong John Williams vibe throughout, but it also contains ethnic and cultural elements.  The movie is about 70 minutes long and features original music throughout!  The film itself can be purchased at the MOVIE HOMEPAGE and is definitely a good watch.

T|M was brought on to program some of the orchestral music for the theatrical trailer.  Most of the music can be found in the film itself, but the last musical cue (last minute of the trailer) was composed specifically for the teaser.  The piece was actually fashioned from a temp track that the director had placed.  The piece came from the movie “The Island” which was composed by Steve Jablonsky.  Tweex Music, in association with Hummingbird Productions, wrote and programmed the final piece.  Of all the music in the trailer, the last minute is easily the climax!  T|M was able to use the new addition to his studio (EWQL Symphonic Choirs) for the track.

T|M Composes Music and Creates Sound Design for Animation Short: Spotlight

Tweex Music just finished music composition and sound design on a new animation short film.  The short was created, directed, and animated by Himanshu Sharma, a recent graduate of Animation Mentor.  Having worked with several students from the school, I can honestly say that these are some of the best character animators in school right now.  Himanshu has worked very hard to create a film that is just as entertaining as it is impressive!

The project began as only a sound design endeavor, however, Tweex Music composed music as a “trial” for Himanshu.  After hearing the piece, Himanshu and Tweex Music both decided that the custom music was by far the best choice.  The music has two main themes: the burglar and the dog.  For those who haven’t seen the piece, that may not mean much, but I guarantee it will once you see it.  The project turned out phenomenally.  Be sure to keep up with Himanshu’s Blog as he will be updating it with new projects and jobs.

Tweex Music and Big Pipe Creek Music Publishing Compose Music for Sundance Film Festival Theatrical Trailer

Man Bites Dog Films has been making a documentary film called “Toxic Soup.”  The film covers the concept of Blood Pollution and its effect on the world.  The film has been submitted to the Sundance Film Festival!

In anticipation of finding more funding, MBD put together a Theatrical Trailer and Tweex Music in association with Big Pipe Creek Music Publishing, scored the trailer.  The style of the music follows the popular cinematic trends of today’s Hollywood composers.  The film has been in production for a little over a year and is looking to finish very soon!  It contains interviews with many notable people including President Bill and Hillary Clinton, Morgan Spurlock, and more.  Below, you will find a version of the trailer to view:

For those of you who might want to listen to just the music, below is music player that contains just the music track.  The project has come a long way and more great things are expected to come from this project.  Be sure to stay tuned for more updates concerning the film!

Boot Camp – Part 3

The final installment of the Boot Camp series is here!  As his final task, our army recruit attempts to tackle the infamous logs!  For our hero, this is his final struggle before he throws in the towel!

As before, the musical theme is the same, but the intensity continues to build up to this installment.  The big brass band calls the recruit home with a bold fanfare!

Boot Camp – Part 2

Part 2 of the Boot Camp series is now available to see!  This week, he is foiled by the Tires!  As animated by Daniel ’sephfire’ Floyd, our army recruit’s agility and dexterity are just not up to the task as he fails once again.

The musical theme is the same as the previous episode, but the intensity of the track is building as his failures increase.  Be prepared for a full fanfare by the end of the series!

Tweex Music and Daniel Floyd Introduce New Animation Short Series:

Boot Camp – Part 1

Tweex Music recently completed music and sound design for a new animation series known as  Boot Camp!  The animation was done by Daniel ’sephfire’ Floyd and it follows the endeavors of a new army recruit going through Boot Camp training.  The 3 part series illustrates his attempts to successfully navigate the obstacle course.  He fails miserably at each and continues to escalate to the wonderful finale.  For the next two weeks, Tweex Music will be releasing the two other pieces in the collection.

The music is meant to sound both militaristic and comedic in which a memorable melody is produced.   The sound design is a mixture of realistic SFX and more stylized/cartoon design.  Each is supposed to capture the essence of the piece and resolve it in the 10 short seconds that the animation takes place in!

Tweex Music Composes Music for Avianca Airlines Duty Free Commercial

Avianca, a popular South American airline company, recently released a new round of duty free commercials and Tweex Music composed an original piece for said commercial.  This is the third airline that Tweex Music has worked on, and if it you can believe it, there is more on the way!

Brian Arnold Interviewed by the Red & Black News Paper

The Red & Black, a newspaper developed by the University of Georgia (my alma mater), has interviewed me for an article in which they follow the lives of recent alumni in their careers.  The piece gives a bit of background on the history of my musical career, the basic process of what I do today, and a little bit about where I’m heading.  It’s a great way to get an inside view of what I do both for Tweex Music and Hummingbird Productions.
